Description | Eighth grade collects, labels, and mounts insects. I feel it would be very educational for students to see insects up close - wing attachment, mouth structure, head ( including compound eyes and simple eyes), body hair, and legs. This would be very helpful in studying insect structure. Students are mainly caucasian males and females (40%), although we do have a few African Americans. (10%) Eighth grade students will make a photostory presentation to fifth grade to share what we have learned. |
