| Description | I work very closely with the science teacher using technology. I want very badly to expose my students, who are all African American and who come from impoverished backgrounds to the new world of the next millenium. My students don't have computers at home and I want them to be able to explore as much as they can in the time that they are with me. I happen to be fascinated with bugs and all children are and I thought that this would be a great project to involve them in and myself. I have ten computers using a T1 line for my connection which was awarded to me by IBM for the Reinventing Education grant proposal that I wrote. With ten computers and eager students which would total 50 in all because (both 8th grade rooms), there is no telling how great this could be.
