- Studentit can taste with it's feet? O_o
- 5:07 pm
- Studenthow do they get used to their habitab
Bugscope TeamWell, most insects are "born" in their natural habitat. There is not too much to get used to. If they somehow are moved to a habitat other than their own, often they cannot find the right food or deal with differences in temperature or weather. In those cases, the insect usually dies.
- Studentwhat is that?

- Studenthow muck do u guys get paid 4 to us?
- Studentwat type of habitat does a fly have?
Bugscope TeamThere are LOTS of types of flies. Some flies suck the blood of larger animals, so they would live in barns or near houses or someplace like that. Some flies are decomposers, so they would live on rotten animals or rotten plants or on poop. There are some flies that eat plants or fruit. There are almost as many flies as there are habitats!

- Teacheryes, nice work on the preset! Amazing!
- Bugscope TeamMr M when we do this we work at a long working distance in the 'scope so the kids can see more of a given insect at low mag
- Bugscope Teamso when we want to get much better resolution we move samples to a shorter working distance
- Teachercool i see.
- Teacherit is easy to get lost close up
- Bugscope Teamjust now I did not move closer but just made a couple of adjustments to the controls at the 'scope
- Bugscope Teamwhen we see things like brochosomes it would always be best to work up close
- Bugscope Teambecause they are so small and cool-looking
- Teacheri have no image . should i log back in?
