Insects of Yosemite National Park

Description

Students will study how populations of organisms can be categorized by the functions they serve in an ecosystem and how organisms may play similar ecological roles in similar biomes. Using the Bugscope, students will identify adaptations found on insect samples collected during a study trip to Yosemite National Park. The images may reveal structures for students to analyze and make conjecture about insect behavior.

Bugscope Teamokay John Vallerga took the day off. There is a sub in the classroom but I didn't want to try and get something going, not knowing whether there is a network connection or computers.
