| Description | We have been collecting, studying, and journaling insects since January 6th, using aspirators, nets, a light trap, and a Berlese funnel. We have made one field trip to a wild area, but mostly students have been collecting at home. We will decide which insects to mail to you at next Monday's class. The online computer session with your scientists and the electron microscope will be the high point of our insect study! All students have access to grade-level curriculum; no child is left behind. Our insect studies will be reported in the school newsletter. |
