| Description | The purpose of the Bugscope experiment would be to compare insects with other arthropods on macroscopic and microscopic scales and to see how these observa- tions compare with students' predictions. They will be studying bugs and insects for one week and this activity would fit in perfectly with their camp curriculum. As students in this program come from low- to middle-income families and are less likely to have internet access at home, this experiment will 1) give them a web experience they are otherwise unlikely to have, and 2) hopefully give them new insight into the opportunities offered by the internet.
