| Description | I am a technology instructor in El Paso, Texas, a border city (Mexico/US). I am trying to expose as many of my teachers to online projects and the total experience of integrating technology into their daily teaching. I mainly work with 3rd,4th and 5th grade teachers for online projects. Being part of the Chihuahuan Desert, we could expose all of our students to the insects of this desert. We are also learning to implement webquests, which I could create for this particular experience. By having our Chihuahuan Desert Insect webquest online at our school webpage, we could expose others to the beauty of our desert. We will study insects such as the tarantula, scorpion, nino de la tierra, etc. Any insects which you have available, we can utilize. Learning more about our surrounding is a primary focus for our school. |
