The Project

Project Title Marvellous Micro organisms
Insects To Study < LEFT BLANK >
Project Description The students have been studying microorganisms, and have been discussing whether they are alive. We realise, being an overseas school, that we will need to trust in the bugscope team to select some specimens for us. Last time before we we rudely interrupted by a lightning bolt. Scott suggested we could have a look at some bacteria, a lot of freshwater pond critters, and maybe a few small insects. This would really support our program. We have access to data projectors in classrooms, and hope to share the session with our Year 6 students.

Where did you hear about Bugscope? We were scheduled to do a session last year, but the microscope was struck by lightning - we had two tries at rescheduling, but the scope wasn't able to be repaired in time before school holidays. We are hoping this year that the weather holds for you. Scott and Kendra, keeping our fingers crossed for no more electrical strikes!
