Project Title Bugscope Exploration
Insects To Study Interesting insects on hand in your lab.
Project Description This project will be done in a class with 23 kids from an affluent community in a suburb of Chicago. It will be a supplement to our unit on microscopes, as well as expose students to scientists. The curriculum specialist, building technician, and I will help the students with their chats, observations, and facilitate some questions during the bugscope experience. The students will be paired, and using 2 computers ( 1 for observing, the other for chatting). I will prepare the students with questions beforehand as well as talk to the students about wasted questions such as
