Insects To Study < LEFT BLANK >
Project Description This would be for an after school program I teach, called STEP (Science and Technology Entry Program). For the past 25 years, we have had this program in our school. It is a program funded through a New York State grant, administered through Fulton-Montgomery Community College, and designed to help students whose ethnicities (or very low income students) are underrepresented in the fields of science and technology. This semester, we have been studying nanotechnology, and I think it would be a great advantage to our kids to actually get some "hands on" experiences with very sophisticated microscopes. We currently have about two feet of snow on the ground, so we can't send you any bugs at this time; we can in the (hopefully) near future.
