The Project

Project Title Life Cycle of a Mealworm
Insects To Study Egg. Larva, Pupa, Adult Darkling Beetle- Butterflies
Project Description Students will make and record observations in their Science Notebooks as classroom mealworms go through metamorphosis. Bugscope will provide us with the opportunity to magnify additional mealworms at different life stages and enable us to add details to our own observations. We would especially like to observe the pupa dissected with magnification as our view is obstructed. We proposed this last year, but our specimens arrived too wet to view at our session. We are hoping to get to see them this year.

Miscellaneous

Where did you hear about Bugscope? I found out about Bugscope through a web search last year and was so pleased with our session with the Bugscope Team, that I am hoping to repeat the experience with my new students.
