The Project

Project Title B.A.M! Bugs Across the Map
Insects To Study Praying Mantis, beetles, bees, and other common insects
Project Description In technology classes students learn how technology supports their learning in other subject areas. 4th grade science students learn how organisms use their senses and sensory organs to detect signals from the environment. Students explain how animal behaviors are influenced by these signals. The praying mantis is SC state insect and we want to learn more about its adaptations. Note about classes: We are large school with over 850 students. I have seven (7) different 4th grade classes that come on a rotating basis from 11:50 - 12:35 each day Eastern Time. I hope to schedule more than one session and we will work with how ever many days around this time that you can arrange.
