The Project

Project Title Insects - Living and Under the Microscope
Insects To Study Insects found in Illinois
Project Description Homeschooling: I am a post graduate degreed professional who is staying at home to homeschool my precocious daughter with slight ADHD & dyslexia. She has been fascinated with bugs since she could crawl, and she is very advanced for her age. I would like to encourage this passion in her, so I have developed this into her 4th grade science curriculum. Our 4th grade project to include insects found in Illiinois from egg to adult. We are also doing a home live caterpillar to butterfly experiment. We have a microscope, too. We are beginning this May (she's in 3rd grade now)and continuing on through May 2012. Units: entomology & microscopic

Where did you hear about Bugscope? I found you online through a Google search of IL bug projects, and where we may see bugs under a microscope in IL.
