Project Description I am planning to do a measurement week with both sections of my 7th grade class. We will measure and compare a variety of items: a) Too small to measure dirctly - Features on SEM micrographs. b) Medium - using calipers, rulers, laser meters c) Too big to measure directly - astronomical items from NASA photos using scale conversions The highlight of the week would be the interactive Bugscope Session where they had an opportunity to actually determine the items that they wanted to measure and acquire the SEM photos. I have two 7th Grade Sections. The best windows would be: June 09, 2010 - Wednesday at 10:00 - 11:00 EST June 11, 2010 - Friday at 9:00 - 10:00 EST New York State Curriculum and Standards that are relevant.
